Numbers 29:12 provided further instruction about proper worship of God at the Feast of Tabernacles with regard to sacrifices and offerings.

Numbers 28 through 29 is a complete overview of what offerings and sacrifices are to be offered at what times. These two chapters cover the daily sacrifices, Sabbath sacrifices, monthly sacrifices and the sacrifices for each of the appointed Holy Days.

God's basic command to keep the Feast of Tabernacles is repeated here as part of a larger series of instructions to the priests and Levites regarding the appropriate offerings and sacrifices to be made in the tabernacle (later the temple) on behalf of the entire nation.
