Jesus Keeps The Feast of Tabernacles After He Returns |
|
Jesus observed the Feast of Tabernacles during His lifetime as the Son of Man. He will also keep the Feast of Tabernacles after His return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
In the prophetic book of Zechariah we have a glimpse into the future when Jesus Christ has returned to earth to rule as King over all the earth (the Kingdom of God). After Jesus has returned and conquered all the armies gathered to fight against Him He will be established as King of Kings. As King of Kings Jesus will teach the people to observe the Feast of Tabernacles. In Zechariah 14:16:19 we see Jesus the King insisting that the people come to worship the Lord Almighty in Jerusalem even if he has to force them. In this section of scritpure we see that: - The command to observe the Feast of Tabernacles applies equally to all nations not only Israel.
- The Feast of Tabernacles is not just for the Jews
- The Feast of Tabernacles will be kept in the Kingdom of God
The Feast of Tabernacles was kept in the past by Israel, by the Jews, and by Jesus. The Feast of Tabernacles will be kept in the future Kingdom of God by all people. And so, today Christians of all nations observe the Feast of Tabernacles in anticipation of the coming Kingdom of God. |
